We are transforming lives through educational workshops for over 4,500 Island students.

Our work with island students in secondary schools and UCM has allowed us to deliver workshops to over 4500 pupils and students across all education settings.

How important is education in schools by organisations like Motiv8? We think very! Sessions give children and young people across education settings an understanding (in an age-appropriate way) about the areas that we support. It helps opens doors for them and those around them should anything that we talk about resonate with them now or in the future.

Early intervention and education within our schools is vitally important to our Island’s future.

Education and Learning

Through the workshops we run, we provide a toolkit for young people that helps them:

Recognise peer pressures
Identify whether their alcohol, drug gambling or gaming use is becoming an issue
Understand the link between substances and behaviours
Improve their self-esteem
Become more resilient
Lower their risk of harm to themselves and others

Our education projects in schools are kindly funded by donations from the local gaming sector and we remain grateful for their involvement in helping us safeguard the futures of our local youth.
